Congratulations to Isle of Wight Academy boys basketball coach Benny Vaughan, who won his 600th game last night with a 47-35 victory over Denbigh Baptist. I have had the pleasure of spending some time with this fine gentleman over the past month, and am happy to see the IWA coach (and Headmaster!) achieve this rare plateau.Vaughan has been coaching at IWA for 39 years, and this win makes him the first independent high school coach in Virginia history to reach 600. Congratulations Coach Vaughan!!
